Hospital Staff

Christina or Tina, as we call her, is one of our seasoned Veterinary Assistants. She is a California native, having grown up in the city of Orange. She currently lives in Anaheim. Tina has over 14 years of experience working with animals and has always enjoyed the variety of things we do on the job, from doing a simple nail trim to taking radiographs. Tina has 2 male cats at home named Bonesaw, who is 9 years old, and Angel, who is a 4 month old kitten. On her days off, she enjoys cooking, cleaning, and spending time with her family.

Diane is one of our Registered Veterinary Technicians. She is a native of Orange county and has been in the veterinary field since 2010. She has always had a connection with animals and knew from a very young age that she would be working with them. She is a Reiki healer and animal communicator so she knows their innermost thoughts. Diane loves seeing the healing transformation with her patients and watching them grow up from babies. She has a full house of 18 cats (Hemi, Chevy, Nova, Ford, Arias, Corvette, Mopar, Delilah, Henry, Hudson, Jude, Leah, Pearl, Porsche, Phoenix, Fury, Zephyr, and Lucy), 2 rabbits named Bambino and Santino, a mouse named Finn, and many fish. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, collecting crystals, doing crafts, singing, sewing, tattooing, and exploring old and abandoned places.

Lori is one of our Veterinary Receptionists. She lives in Irvine and is originally from Long Island, New York. She brings with her over 30 years of working with animals. She has always loved caring for animals and feels they need a voice. She has a special fondness for senior pets. She shares her home with 3 cats, Lou, who is 3 years old and littermates Shurbert and Hook, who are both 15 years old. Lori loves spending time with her fur babies and taking long walks.

Jose or “Freddy” as we call him, is one of our Veterinary Assistants. Originally from Mexico City, he has lived in Santa Ana for over 15 years. As a child, he had a phobia of cats and dogs after getting bitten by a dog. Wanting to conquer his fear, he starting volunteering at a veterinary hospital, and was able to overcome his phobia and develop a deep love for animals. Now 6 years later, Freddy has extensive experience handling all types of cats and dogs, big or small. At home, he has a German Shepherd named Toby and a tabby cat named Luna. When not working, he enjoys playing the guitar, cooking different types of foods, playing and watching soccer, and cheering on his favorite football team, the Colts.
Ashley is one of our Veterinary Receptionists. She is originally from Los Angeles but is currently living in Huntington Beach. She has been working with animals for 2 years. Whether it’s giving a patient a treat to calm nervousness or seeing a patient get better, it makes her happy to see them feel better. In her free time, Ashley enjoys cozying up with a good book and hot tea, crocheting and enjoying her new, energetic dog named Kenai.

Kourtnei is one of our Veterinary Receptionist/Assistants. She is also from Santa Ana. Ever since she was a kid, she wanted to help animals and work at a vet office. She loves being able to help heal and improve the quality of life for her patients and make a difference in animal and human lives. Kourtnei has been working with animals most of her adult life from volunteering at animal shelters, working at Petsmart and even being a dog trainer. She shares her home with 2 Huskies named Anubis and Nefertiti and 6 cats (Charlie, Abby, Isabella, Fiona, Gilly and Cosmo). When not working, she loves horseback riding, nature trails, dog sporting events, dog shows, and video games.
Maricarmen is our camera shy Kennel Attendant. She has lived in
California all of her life and has always liked animals. She appreciates how similar they are to us. She has 2 rescue female dogs named Luna (Moon) & Estrella (Star), and a young male cat named Pantlimon, pictured here. She has been working animals over 2 years and likes to watch movies and television in her spare time.
